Being Lia...

Lia was all about being Rapunzel since say October. Every day was princess dress and crowns. We all had names...Mother Gothel, Boogene, maximus, even Pascal. It was serious Rapunzel love. Then she got a book about Aladdin. Goodbye Rapunzel, Hello Aladdin! What's funny is she wants to be Aladdin, not Jasmine. Oh Rapunzel is still around. And then sometimes this happens. Not sure if she's even really seen a blind person, but this is how she came out last night.

The kids have been doing normal kid things. We play, practice walking, call each other character names from Rapunzel, jump, twirl, get into trouble, and eat stuff. All in a kid's day's work...

Bubble box

So I went to the craft store and bought the vase filler jelly balls. Lia absolutely loves playing in this sensory box. She calls them bubbles. Her favorite way to play is making and eating bubble soup. We also took it to preschool for the Valentines Day party. Let's just say it was a royal mess but the kids had a blast.
